I am having a similiar issue here. The activeX doesn't install when you press OK and/or Cancel, unless you are administrator of the workstation/laptop.
When I installed the ActiveX being a local administrator, it will install, but then it installs it damaged when looking at the properties of the Javaclass under "c:\windows\download program files".
The real strange thing is that it doesn't happen to me when I am on my own workstation and laptop. I am using IE8 which seems to work fine.
Does anyone have this same problem with IE and the DWA control with the class being damaged? Does it being damaged cause it not to work properly? Also, does a user have to be an administrator to be able to install this activeX?
TIA
